Krebs Business Machines was established in 1983 by former president Marty Krebs, an experienced service technician for Sentry Insurance. Marty saw a need in the community for a full service office machine repair shop and started a business out of his home. From these humble beginnings, Krebs has grown with technological advancements in document management.
With new technologies came the need to incorporate new services. Early on, repair services grew to incorporate several different types of equipment. Seizing opportunities in toner cartridge re-manufacturing, Krebs began offering substantial savings to customers by installing a state-of-the-art toner re-manufacturing facility. The unique ability to offer printer repair along with toner re-manufacturing led to the ability to offer a service backed guaranty with toner cartridges, above and beyond competitor's offerings.
Since Krebs was conceived, the industry has gone through a number of changes. Krebs evolved with these changes from digital document management and color multifunction devices, to networking and cloud computing.
Ever evolving, Krebs came under the ownership of Cory and Anastasia Sosnovske in January of 2016. Purchasing the business with a more modern company vision in their sights, they decided to change the name to Star Business Machines, Inc.
At Star Business Machines, our technicians are factory trained and certified to provide professional, timely repairs on all of the equipment we sell. We also service the brands that are sold by our competitors. Star is also an authorized warranty repair center for Copystar, Kyocera, Samsung, HP, Brother, Fellows, Acroprint, and many more. Repairs can be done both in-shop and on-site.
